Dear Colleagues,
The Salem State School of Social Work is pleased to present our third annual professional development program. We are offering one-day and half-day workshops, beginning in March and ending in June 2018. This year, courses will build skills in substance use and addictions, motivational interviewing, trauma, and mental health neuroscience, to name a few. Workshops will be held at 287 Lafayette Street, Salem, MA.The workshops reflect the core values of our School and our focus on integrated social work practice. Full-day workshops are scheduled 9 am to 4:30 pm (6CEUs) with an hour for lunch on your own. Half-day workshops are scheduled 9 am to 12 noon (3 CEUs). The cost of a full-day workshop is $110 and a half-day is $55.
If you are a current supervisor of a Salem State SSW student, you are eligible to take our professional development courses at a 50% discount. You should have received two notices from us. Please call ktraversy@salemstate.edu with any questions. The complexity of practice today requires lifelong learning and a commitment to staying current in social work practice skills. We would like for Salem State School of Social Work to become your choice for professional development. Sincerely,Carol E. Bonner, MSW, MBA, Ed.D.Associate Dean
